Just got back from London and I know you have been anxiously awaiting my  top picks…

Everyone knows by now how divine the Dean Street Townhouse Restaurant is...it’s fashionable, clubby, the best of Britain's art adorns the walls and, as an added bonus, has great food!

What you probably don’t know is, for cheap sleeps, their 39 room hotel is the best value in town. The categories range from tiny, small, medium and bigger, but all have oversized beds, Cowshed bath products (I’m impressed!) and flat screen satellite TVFor £95 a night, you  can’t go wrong and a little birdie might even be able to get you an upgrade…jody@bearandbear.travel

For chic sleeps, The Soho Hotel is truly sensational and, hands down, the hotel-du-jour in London right now!!!  It’s daringly modern, yet elegantly traditional. It’s all about the oversized rooms, over-the-top service and over-the-moon headlight suites. They get it on every level…

The Lanesborough Hotel calls it their Garden Room(ha), but we know better. This outdoor, but you think you’re indoor, smoking lounge has an extensive collection of Cuban and pre-Castro cigars, an amazing array of spirits, Champagne, wines and Ports and is the classiest address in London.

The Connaught Hotel was oh-so-stuffy…well, no more, my darlings.  Check out the contemporary rooms in the new wing and the Aman spa with the cascading waterfall and thank me in the morning.

No hotel has more great restaurants under one roof than The Berkeley ---their latest & greatest is Koffmann’sPierre Koffmann‘s legendary restaurant, La Tante Claire was originally at the Berkeley Hotel…who said you can’t go home again…

…and speaking of food, you must try Daylesford Organic and 202 Café in Notting Hill for Sunday brunch. The food is fab, the people-watching couldn’t be better and it is so low-key you’d never know that Jude Law and Sienna Miller are cuddling at the corner table!

Look for me on Stylemepretty, the new Wedding website.  If it’s good enough for Martha Stewart, it’s good enough for me!
